Mike is a senior leader in the healthcare industry with a demonstrated history of helping clients transform their business. Skilled in Program & Portfolio Management, Strategy, Post M&A integration and structuring & launching large programs. At Optimity he leverages his deep experience in all facets of the health ecosystem: Health Plans (Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid), Large Provider Systems, National PBMs, State Medicaid Departments and CMS to help client’s adapt and transform.
Experience
With 18 years in healthcare consulting, Mike has played a central role in major industry changing transformations.
In Pharmacy Benefits Management, he led the integration of multiple business areas following the acquisition of one of the largest PBMs by a national payer. He also helped another of the largest PBMs acquire and implement PBM business for one of the nation’s largest national health plans.
In government plans, he led the development of a Medicare Advantage end-to-end white label operation as a part of a planned divestiture for one of the nation’s largest insurers. Mike also led the strategy, funding request and implementation of a first of its kind Medicaid Management System. Leveraging this background, he continues to help Managed Care Organizations with their strategies, operating models, acquisitions, integrations.
