Professional Accomplishments

  • Redefined the PMO to better execute the deployment of cutover activities for Medicare Part D line of business. Led the day-to-day operations of the migration from legacy platform to Trizetto and successfully executed cutover.

  • Lead Engagement Manager for 3 rapid implementations of Vaccine Management and 6 implementations of Critical Event Management System; day-to-day activities included project kick off, project plan development and task accountability, stakeholder management, project team oversight, requirements gathering, solution development, data conversion and product training.

  • Managed the establishment of the Professional Services PMO Organization including development of PMO Charter, project delivery standards and templates that will be utilized to deliver a consistent and repeatable delivery model for all engagements.

  • Established and deployed 11 Process Areas for a Medicaid project; establishing the foundation for project execution.

  • Established a weekly cross-functional meeting for an Eligibility & Enrollment project; improved productivity by 70% after modifications made to meetings and use of technology. Workstreams include: Case Management, Rules, Conversions, Interfaces, and Infrastructure.

  • Created the executive dashboard and all status reporting, including executive messaging for the project. Included was the critical path analysis, SPI analysis, and the “so what” – what do I need to know and any action(s) that need to occur.

  • Led a 10-person team to conduct a program deep dive into 5 high-impact projects for Provider Data Management.

  • Conducted a root-cause analysis on why Physician contracts took so long to implement. Reviewed over 100+ contracts and made the recommendation to standardize both language and terms.

  • Implemented a solution via a technical tool (OnBase) to include both workflow management, standardization, and a governance model to manage the entire eco-system of the contract. This produced high quality results and quicker time to market for contract negotiations, increase in quality in setup and information being passed to downstream systems.

  • Served as interim Director of IT to oversee the implementation of a legacy modernization platform to Facets while client was interviewing candidates. In position for approximately 7 months.

  • Deployed a Project Management Office (PMO)to oversee the transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 for the largest cancer center. Model served as a basis for future strategic projects on how to manage large scale programs that spans across multiple department.

  • Managed against a $40 million dollar budget to oversee operations to execute the completion of upgrades, trainings, and systems to ICD-10.Delivered on-time and within budget. Created and executed enterprise test plan for 30+ systems requiring remediation.

  • Management of a $70 million infrastructure budget to install and configure the environments for development, testing, production, upgrades, and disaster recovery for one of the largest Payers on the west coast.

  • Created the framework and roadmap for one of the largest energy companies to establish an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).  This served as the foundation on how any project within the organization should deliver and execute projects on a consistent and manageable basis.
